HOW TO COMPLAIN TO GATWICK
Tunbridge Wells must be heard.
If you wish to raise a complaint with Gatwick, have as much of the following information ready as possible:
• Your name and address including postcode.
• Date and time of the incident
• Count the engines on the aircraft if possible. Other details might well be useful (eg Airline).
• The nature of your complaint (noise, low flying etc).
• Any other details you may have of the aircraft and flight.
Windows or Apple PCs or Laptops:
You can register your complaint to Gatwick through the Casper Flight Tracking Web site. To start this application click HERE
When the Web site has loaded, click on the 'Make a noise complaint' words on the left side of your screen. Then follow the instructions.
Better still, if you can find the offending aircraft by using the Replay facility (top right of the screen) and navigating to the date and time you saw the aircraft, so much the better. If you click on the aircraft's icon you can then 'Make a Complaint about this Aircraft' (left side of the screen) and be more precise about the incident.
Smartphones and Tablets (Apple, Android and Widows):
Complaints can also be made using Smartphones and Tablets - click HERE to do this.
This also works for PCs.
Our web site is compatible with all platforms so you can use this link on your phone or tablet - and bookmark it so it is readily available when needed.
Flight tracking apps can help you find out about the aircraft and its flight details, for more information about these see our FACTS section.
Complaining by email and telephone is no longer possible, these services have been withdrawn. A voice-based service is expected to be introduced in mid-2018.
The only other way of raising a complaint is to write, including the information mentioned above to ensure that your complaint will be registered. The address is:
GATWICK AIRPORT FLIGHT PERFORMANCE TEAM
If you are dissatisfied with the response you are welcome to let us know so that we can suggest further action.
To visit the Gatwick NoiseLab Web site, click HERE.
Look at the DATA BROWSER on the HOME page, or explore the COMPLAINTS page.
We have drafted a Complaint Registration Form for postal complaints, you can see it below and download it using the button to print, fill in by hand and post to Gatwick to the address on the reverse.
Complaints by phone
Communities objected strongly at the withdrawal of Gatwick’s complaints phone line. NATMAG have plans to introduce a voice-based complaints registering facility sometime in mid-2018.
